General Information

Autoloading tape backup with capacities of 10 Terabytes and higher, with a variety of media types.

This is fairly rarefied territory, since I haven't seen a desktop hard drive this large yet, but with the movies people are downloading, it can only be a matter of time. Most of these units will be rackmount, or fully standalone, with interconnectivity using Ultra SCSI, fibre Channel, and some of the newer units threatening to have serial SCSI. As for media, all the main large format types are represented, SDLT, LTO, AIT and SAIT, with their attendant capabilities.
