XD Picture Cards were developed by Fuji / Olympus and are all made by Toshiba, they have an ultimate limit of 8Gb but are just bigger than a standard postage stamp. Performance is generally good, there are currently 3 types, the original (sometimes with a P suffix) and the newer Type M and H. Olympus are marketing Type H as -High Speed- whilst Fuji are saying -Types M and H use different methods of digital encoding- i.e. lower per cost per Mb.
